Judging process

Judging

The LGC Investment Awards has a rigorous judging process to decide our winners. Our independent panel of judges, made up of major figures from within and outside the LGPS, will review all the entries to determine the shortlist and then convene in a roundtable discussion, to select the winners. 

Each stage is designed to provide a fair and transparent process. Please note, you will be judged on your written entry alone, so make sure you include as much supporting evidence as possible and make it clear in your entry why you should win.

Stage 1: Online Judging – each entry will undergo a rigorous and fair judging process. Our judges will carefully review, score, and assess every submission to determine the 2026 shortlist.

Stage 2: Roundtable discussion – shortlisted entries will then be discussed in depth during a judging roundtable, where our expert panel will debate and select the final winners.
