Adams Street Partners currently invests over $3.3 billion on behalf of 13 LGPS funds. This is a strategic client segment for the firm, and dates back to the first LGPS mandate awarded to Adams Street in 2002. We are a partner to our 13 LGPS funds, providing access to our wider global platform, information, and networks. We also collaborate with our LGPS clients on their reporting needs regarding ESG, cost transparency and performance metrics. In addition, due to our 20+ years of investing in UK venture capital funds we have helped our LGPS investors increase their UK venture exposure.
GLIL Infrastructure
Since inception, GLIL Infrastructure has raised £4.1bn of committed capital, with with more than £3bn deployed into 15 infrastructure assets spanning renewable energy, battery storage, regulated utilities, ports and logistics, trains, hospitals and schools. It is a partnership of UK pension funds which invests in Britain’s future – creating jobs, supporting communities and helping to power the economy. The fund is specially designed to help pension fund members tap into the stable, inflation-linked returns that infrastructure investment offers. It invests on behalf of pension funds and pools including Local Pensions Partnership Investments, Greater Manchester Pension.
Gresham House
Gresham House is a specialist alternative asset manager, offering funds, direct investment and tailored opportunities, including local co-investment, across a range of sustainable strategies. We have £8.5bn of assets under management (AUM) as at 31 December 2023, split within the business between our Real Assets and Strategic Equity divisions.Our strategies seek to address key environmental and societal challenges whilst delivering long-term financial returns. Currently we have 20 LGPS clients across 31 mandates.

Hines has several flagship funds in Europe with investments across property types on behalf of a diverse group of institutional and private wealth clients.
Among these funds is Hines, a Luxembourg-based, euro-denominated, closed-ended investment fund that aims to acquire a diversified portfolio of prime value-add commercial and residential real estate investments across all sectors and major European markets. This includes investments on behalf of institutional investors such as the UK local government pension scheme, Border to Coast Pensions Partnership.
Hines is closed to new investors, completing its final close in November 2023.
IFM Investors
IFM Investors is a global infrastructure asset manager owned by Australian pension funds managing $145.1bn across infrastructure assets.Since 2011, 25 LGPS investors, representing 35,000 members, have committed c.£2.1bn of capital to infrastructure investments through IFM strategies.In January, the c.£35bn ACCESS Pool selected IFM’s flagship $60bn Global Infrastructure Fund for their Infrastructure Strategy.In November 2023, IFM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UK Government to invest £10 billion into UK infrastructure by 2027, reflecting its commitment to the UK, British institutional asset owners, and their communities which will benefit from financial, social and environmental perspectives.
