Outstanding individual contribution - LGPS
Louise Campbell - North East Scotland Pension Fund
NESPF was the first LGPS fund to adopt and go live with Heywood Pension Technologies’ latest member portal, Engage. As Project Manager, Louise played an integral role during this early adopter phase, conducting extensive testing to ensure delivery of an easy to use portal that addressed known member concerns and issues.
Debra Keeling - Norfolk Pension Fund
Debra embodies all that is fantastic about our colleagues in scheme administration, supporting scheme members and employers to understand the LGPS and make the best decision for themselves and their organisations. She stepped up to lead Norfolk’s member services team through a transitional year. She demonstrated an unwavering commitment to service delivery, took on new challenges, creatively solved problems and removed barriers to progress. She has not only been resilient herself but with compassion, patience, understanding and tremendous good humour she has created an environment and opportunity for Pensions Services to move beyond surviving to thriving in the future.
Faith Ward - Brunel Pension Partnership
Faith Ward has led Brunel’s work on RI & stewardship to maximise impact across the pension pool’s portfolios, and precipitate progress across the industry. Her commitment reflects her core belief that through responsible, active ownership, Brunel can contribute to the care, and long-term success, of all assets within its remit. Notable areas of impact have included the asset owner-asset manager alignment roundtable; Net Zero Investment Framework; Paris-aligned Passive Indices launch; Engagement, Resolutions and Voting; Biodiversity pilot; Coordination with industry on policy and other initiatives (e.g. Fair Reward Framework); and Brunel’s new Climate Change Progress Report 2024.
