Allspring Global Investments

Allspring manages £451bn AUA globally, managing £3.7bn on behalf of UK clients including LGPS. In 2023 we were delighted to launch the Allspring (Lux) Worldwide Climate Transition Global Buy & Maintain (CT GB&M) fund with two LGPS investors allocating £230m. This strategy aligns with LGPS goals providing alpha generation within fixed income allocations combined with portfolio decarbonisation by 2050. The fund achieves performance through meeting environmental goals whilst simultaneously benefiting from cashflow generation and downside protection provided by credit risk-focused security selection.

Gresham House

Gresham House is a specialist alternative asset manager, offering funds, direct investment and tailored opportunities, including local co-investment, across a range of sustainable strategies. We have £8.5bn of assets under management (AUM) as at 31 December 2023, split within the business between our Real Assets and Strategic Equity divisions.Our strategies seek to address key environmental and societal challenges whilst delivering long-term financial returns. Currently we have 20 LGPS clients across 31 mandates.

Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners

Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners is a specialist investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed to drive the energy transition in the UK, US, and Australia. Quinbrook is led and managed by a senior team of power industry professionals who have collectively invested c. USD 5.6 billion of equity capital in 43.3 GW of energy infrastructure assets since the early 1990s, representing a total transaction value of USD 48.3 billion. Quinbrook is strongly aligned with the Government’s goals of a decarbonised UK power system by 2035, improved energy security and the “Levelling Up” agenda.

RBC BlueBay Asset Management

The LGPS has been a longstanding focus area for RBC BlueBay with a dedicated experienced team that focus on servicing the needs of schemes. Our partnership approach has seen allocations from 6 out of the 8 pools in England and Wales across Fixed Income and Equity dating back to 2010. Outside of England & Wales, we have an allocation via NILGOSC and a recent win in Scotland. In total, we manage £6.2bn for our LGPS partners with a further £1bn expected to fund through 2024.
