Celebrating innovation and excellence in the LGPS

In an era marked by unprecedented challenges and rapid change in the pensions landscape, innovation is vital. With this in mind we proudly announce the return of the LGC Investment Awards.

Taking place at lunchtime on 29 November, at the Waldorf Hilton, London, the LGC Investment Awards will recognise excellence across the Local Government Pension Scheme community. With a renewed focus on innovation, this prestigious event will celebrate exemplary best practice that drives the LGPS forward in an ever-changing environment.

The awards are free to enter and are open to all stakeholders within the LGPS, including pension funds, pools, and service providers, these awards serve as a platform for collaboration, inspiration, and acknowledgment of outstanding achievements.

Each stage of judging is designed to provide a fair and transparent process.

Stage 1: Online Judging – once the entry phase closes, the judges will review online and score each submission to determine the shortlist.

Stage 2: Roundtable discussion – once the shortlist is announced, all finalists will be reviewed again by our judging panel to select the winner.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or a newcomer in the sector, the LGC Investment Awards welcome all contributions that push the boundaries of conventional thinking and propel the LGPS towards greater success.

Together, let us shine a spotlight on excellence, foster a culture of innovation, and recognise those tasked with the safekeeping of the pensions of the 6.39 million members within the LGPS.
